Re-opening nominations for scoutSMART High School Football America Preseason Academic All-American Watch List

With high school football news being dominated by COVID-19 and the effect it’s having on the 2020 season, High School Football America put its announcements of the scoutSMART HSFA Preseason Academic All-American Watch List on-hold for a several weeks to make sure that our student-athletes got the proper attention they deserve.

Around noontime Wednesday, we will announce our latest honoree. In addition, we are re-opening the nomination process, since many coaches around America were busy getting things ready for what will be a very different season, because of the coronavirus pandemic.

If you’ve already nominated a player, there’s no need to re-submit, we’ll be honoring them in the coming weeks. If you haven’t…coaches, here’s how you can get involved to honor your student-athletes — simply nominate any of your players who are strong in the classroom and on the field by emailing us at [email protected].

For your student-athlete to be added to our Watch List, please include the following:

  • Student’s Name
  • High School
  • Position
  • Class
  • GPA
  • Test Scores (if available)
  • A short description of their contribution on the field and off

Nominate a Student-Athlete to scoutSMART/High School Football America Preseason All-Academic Watch List

Nominations need to be received by September 30.

scoutSMART uses its proprietary system that gives high school football student-athletes a scoutSMART FIT Score that analyzes a players’ stats, on-field skills and academics. scoutSMART then provides the information to college football coaches, at all-levels, around the nation.
