All three Hawaii teams ranked in the Preseason High School Football America 300 national rankings, powered by NFL Play Football, won their season openers Saturday night.
No. 30 Kahuku, the top team in the Hawaii Top 10, survived a last second field goal attempt in a 14-13 come-from-behind win over No. 5 Saint Louis. Next up for the Red Raiders is No. 2 Bishop Gorman from Nevada.
No. 50 Mililani and No. 255 Punahou both picked-up shutout victories.
Mililani, No. 2 in the state rankings, beat Kailua 29-0. Next week, the Trojans will square-off with Saint Louis.
Punahou, No. 3 in the state, shutout No. 10 Konawaena 35-0. Next week, the Buff n’ Blue hosts California’s Sierra Canyon, No. 27 in the HSFA 300.

No. 4 Campbell rolled to a 67-35 win over Damien. Quarterback Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele tossed six touchdown passes . The 3-star Cal-commit threw for 387 yards and ran for 49.
Kingsten Samuelu ran for 129 yards and four touchdowns in No. 7 Farrington’s 35-12 win over Kapaa.
