St. Frances Academy (Maryland), St. Xavier (Kentucky) and Charlotte Catholic (North Carolina) all take a step-up in the latest High School Football America Mid-Atlantic Region Top 20 that is created with our proprietary algorithm.  Each moved-up one spot from last week, while Good Counsel (Maryland) re-enters the Top 20 at No. 19 after beating former No. 20 Archbishop Spalding (Maryland).

There are no head-to-head meetings in the Top 20 this week, but three-time South Carolina state champ South Pointe, ranked No. 2 in the region, takes-on four-time North Carolina state champ Shelby and No. 3 St. John’s (Washington, DC) will face a test from St. John Bosco from Southern California.  Bosco is ranked No. 6 in the latest High School Football America Top 100 national rankings. St. John’s is ranked No. 17 in the nation this week.
