My all-time favorite High School Football America Radio Show just happens to be the fourth one I ever did back on August 11, 2011 when I had two high school football coaching legends on the show.

The show began with high school football’s all-time leader in coaching victories — John McKissick of Summerville High School in South Carolina. It was followed-up with a chat with J.T. Curtis of John Curtis Christian School in Louisiana, who was No. 2 on the wins list. Now, heading in 2019, Curtis is closing fast on McKissick’s 621 victories.

Curtis, who will be heading into his 51st year this season, owns an overall record of 582-64-6. Last season, the Patriots finished No. 25 in the High School Football America 100 national rankings.

McKissick retired before the 2015 high school football season with ten state championships in 63 years of coaching.
