Annual regular season clash between arch-rivals Bishop Hendricken and La Salle Academy went to the No. 1 Hawks Friday night. The Hawks got out to a 28-0 lead and never looked back in 28-14 win that keeps Hendricken, the state’s defending Division I champs, at No. 1.

Since 2000, Hendricken and La Salle have won 12 of 19 Super Bowl championship games. And, one of the two has won the Division I championship during the last nine seasons.
In 2017, La Salle beat the Hawks for the state title, which snapped Hendricken’s run of seven straight state championships.
