Rigby finishes No. 1 in the final regular season Idaho Top 5 despite season-ending loss

Top-ranked Rigby was shocked in its season finale by arch-rival Madison, ending the Trojans’ 23-game win streak. Despite the loss, the defending 5A champs remain the top team in the High School Football America Idaho Top 5 powered by NFL Play Football.

No. 2 Mountain View closed the gap in our proprietary algorithm that creates the rankings by beating No. 4 Rocky Mountain 26-6.

The playoffs begin this weekend with Mountain View the top seed in 5A.
