For the second week in a row, there’s a new No. 1 in the High School Football America Minnesota Top 10, powered by NFL Play Football.

Rosemount is the new No. 1 after surprising former No. 1 Eden Prairie 14-7. EP came into the game averaging 35 points per contest. Aside from the strong defense, Rosemount picked-up the win behind Jackson Ganser’s two touchdown runs.

The question is, can Rosemount keep it rolling this week as the state’ new No. 1? This week, the Irish will be tested by defending AAAAAA state champ Lakeville South. The Cougars were our preseason No. 1, but tumbled after losing to Eden Prairie two weeks ago.

Eden Prairie will try to get back into the win column against No. 10 Shakopee.

In another Top 10 head-to-head, No. 3 Lakeville South faces No. 8 Prior Lake. No. 6 Stillwater will play No. 9 Forest Lake.
