Round Rock beat A&M Consolidated Saturday 26-13 to captured the Texas 7-on-7 Division I state championship in College Station. It was the first-ever 7-on-7 state title for the Dragons, who went 9-2 last fall with a first round playoff loss to Lake Travis in the Class 6A Division I playoffs.
Round Rock made it to the finals wins over Manvel (26-19), Midlothian Heritage (30-22), Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North (28-14) and Coppell (32-27).
