Sabino outscores Paradise Honors for Arizona 3A state title

It was a record-breaking night in the Arizona 3A championship game that was won by Sabino with a 68-46 win over Paradise Honors. The 68 points scored by Sabino set an 11-man record in Arizona, as did the 114 total points for both 11- and 8-man championships.

Sabino senior quarterback Cam Hackworth threw for 118 yards and two touchdowns. His passing yards helped him set a Southern Arizona career passing record with 8,799 yards. On the other sideline, Gage Baker closed-out an incredible career completing 46-of-67 passes for 517 yards with seven touchdowns.

He shattered the single season Arizona record with 6,040 yards, he broke his own record with 46 completions in a state playoff game, he has the state record of 173 career touchdown passes and he tied the national record of 91 TD passes in a single season.
