Saint James wins first-ever Alabama high school football state championship

Saint James is the 2022 Alabama 3A champ after beating defending state champ Piedmont 45-28 at Auburn’s Jordan-Hare Stadium Thursday.

Quarterback KJ Jackson tossed five touchdown passes in the second half. Saint James overcome a 20-10 halftime deficit.
