San Clemente wins CIF Division 1-A state title

San Clemente capped-off an incredible postseason run by scoring 22 unanswered points to win the CIF Division 1-A state championship with a 22-17 win over Del Oro.  The Tritons trailed Del Oro, which was playing in its third straight state championship game, 17-0 late in the first half.

Brandon Reeves scored the game-winning touchdown when he returned a punt 54-yards to paydirt with 5:38 to go in the game.

The state title is the first for San Clemente, which finishes 13-3.
