Christopher High School’s Darren Yafai is the 49ers PREP Charlie Wedemeyer Memorial Coach of the Week Award winner for Week 2 of the 2022 high school football season. Yafai and Christopher improved to 2-0 on the season with a 51-9 win over Piedmont Hills.

As the 49ers PREP Charlie Wedemeyer Memorial Coach of the Week presented by U.S. Bank, Yafai will receive a grant for the Christopher High School football program from the 49ers Foundation. Below, Yafai was also featured on the 49ers Cal-Hi Sports Report presented by U.S. Bank.
