Steve Fryer of OCVarsity.com reports that Santa Margarita has hired Rich Fisher as the school’s new head football coach.

Fisher comes to the Trinity League school after spending four years as the wide receivers coach at the University of Nebraska from 2011 through 2014. Prior to his arrival in Lincoln, Fisher was a high school head coach at Rivers School in Weston, Massachusetts.  In 2010, Fisher led Rivers School to an 8-0 record, the school’s first undefeated regular season since 1915.

Fisher takes over for Rick Curtis, who was let go at the end of the 2015 season after a 5-5 record in his second year at the school.
