Santa Margarita (CA) QB K.J. Costello chooses Stanford

Santa Margarita High School quarterback K.J. Costello has announced he’s going to stay in the west and play for Stanford.  Costello’s announcement now means that the top four pro-style quarterbacks on 247Sports.com’s composite rankings have now made their verbal commitments.

Costello chose the Cardinal over Michigan and USC.  Last season, Costello threw for over 3,100 yards and 23 touchdowns.
