Scituate won the Massachusetts Division 4 championship Friday night at Gillette Stadium, home of the New England Patriots, in exciting fashion.
The Sailors trailed Duxbury 13-6 with under a minute to play. Andrew Bossey’s 10-yard touchdown run with :27 seconds to play closed the gap to 13-12.

Head coach Herb Devine decided to go for two and the win. When Keegan Sullivan converted the two-point conversion, the Sailors had a 14-13 and a championship trophy.

The Super Bowl championship is the second in four years for Scituate, which won the state title in 2018.
