“There’s a special magic and energy that comes with high school football games,” said Jeff Richards, Seahawks Vice President of Marketing and Community Engagement. “The passion and tradition that exists in youth and high school football here in the Pacific Northwest is so strong. With our Blue Friday Night Lights program, we have worked to celebrate and support local football communities by bringing some of our gameday fun and shining a spotlight on those special settings.”

At each of the featured games, mascot Blitz, DJ Supa Sam, Blue Thunder and Seahawks Dancers will join the fun, while a Seahawks player or Legend will participate in the coin toss and provide the teams with an autographed football to use for school fundraisers or raffles. The Seahawks will also conduct a 12 Flag raising ceremony prior to kick-off, as well as provide “I’m IN” rally cards to the teams.

As part of a season-long effort to fuel NFL communities around the country, Campbell’s® Chunky® soup has also partnered with the Seahawks to pop up at Friday night high school games throughout the greater Seattle area. At each designated Blue Friday Night Lights game, Campbell’s Chunky will provide complimentary samples of its hearty soups and distribute rally towels to local high school football fans.
