Saturday’s showdown in The Honor Bowl between Corona Centennial (1-0) and Serra (Gardena) will be missing one key component.

Serra quarterback Khalil Tate will not play in the game because he was ejected in the first half of Friday night’s win over Lakewood.  In his place, Cavaliers (1-0) head coach Scott Altenberg will start junior Jalani Eason.

Corona Centennial is ranked #1 in the latest High School Football America/SoCal Top 25, while Serra is ranked #5.
