Shanley wins North Dakota AA state high school football championship

The 2022 Class 11AA football championship belongs to Fargo’s Shanley High. The Deacons beat Bismarck Century 48-7 for the school’s 10th overall state football title.

Leading the way for the Deacons was senior quarterback Michael Rostberg who was 20-for-28 passing for 259 yards and four touchdowns. Rostberg, a University of St. Thomas recruit, also rushed for 70 yards and two touchdowns in the game.
