One more week before sixteen teams head to Mercedes-Benz Stadium to play for a 2024 Georgia high school football championship. It’s semifinal time this weekend with some great matchups that will affect the next Georgia Top 25 high school football rankings, powered by NFL Play Football.
As far as this week’s Top 25, Lee County climbs two spots to No. 4 in the latest statewide rankings created with our proprietary algorithm. The Trojans blew-out Sprayberry 64-0 to move on to this weeks 5A semis against top-ranked Milton.
On the other side of the bracket, 2023 5A champ Coffee will face Langston Hughes, coming off a big win last weekend against ’23 6A champ Thomas County Central.
Coffee enters the game ranked No. 10 in the state. LH is right behind the Trojans at No. 11.
In 6A, No. 2 Carrollton squares-off with No. 3 Buford. On the other side of the bracket, No. 6 Grayson plays No. 7 Douglas County.
