Showdown time between No. 1 Buford and No. 3 Mill Creek in Georgia Top 25

The top of Georgia’s Class 7A Region 8 and the High School Football America Georgia Top 25 will be at stake Friday night when No. 1 Buford travels to No. 3 Mill Creek. Last year, Buford beat the Hawks 39-27 in their regular season matchup that led to a regional title. However, it was Mill Creek that went on to win the state’s 7A championship against Carrollton.

In the national rankings, Buford is ranked No. 8. Mill Creek is ranked No. 18 in the HSFA 300, powered by NFL Play Football.

As far as the latest rankings, every team holds last week’s place, except at the bottom where Cedar Grove drops out and Cartersville enters at No. 25.
