The road to a state championship and a No. 1 ranking in the High School Football America Oklahoma Top 10 is getting shorter. This weekend’s Class 6A-I and 6A-II semifinals offer fans great head-to-head matchups inside our Top 10 statewide rankings.
In 6A-I, defending state champ Owasso plays No. 3 Jenks in the state semifinals. The top-ranked Rams are currently ranked No. 16 in the High School Football America 100 powered by BlackMP Living Water.
Jenks has won 16 overall state champs. The Trojans are currently ranked No. 77 in our national rankings.
In the 6A-II semis, No. 2 Bixby plays No. 9 Midwest City. The Spartans, who are ranked No. 50 nationally, are looking for their third straight state championship. Bixby is currently on a 34-game win streak.
In the other 6A-II semi, No. 4 Stillwater faces Choctaw, which enters our statewide Top 10 for the first time ever. The Yellowjackets replace Broken Arrow, which was shocked in the 6A-I state quarterfinals by Union 26-14.
Union will play No. 6 Edmond Santa Fe for the right to play for 6A-I state title.
In 5A, four-time defending state champ Carl Albert will face-off with No. 7 Bishop Kelley in the state quarterfinals.
