Everyone has been waiting for the Thompson/Hoover high school football showdown. It will take place on Friday when the top-ranked defending state champion Warriors host Hoover.
Last year, Thompson beat the Bucs twice on its way to the 7A title.
In the latest rankings, Pinson Valley returns to the statewide rankings after knocking-off former No. 7 Clay-Chalkville. The Indians are ranked No. 9 this week.
