As we head into the last week of the regular season, last week’s twenty-five teams in the High School Football America Florida Top 25 are the same teams in this week’s statewide rankings, but there is a decent amount of shuffling.
No. 4 Miami Central beat arch-rival Northwestern for the second time this year, which drops the Bulls from No. 7 to No. 12 in the latest rankings, powered by NFL Play Football. The 49-6 loss was a much different outcome from the Rockets 24-21 win on October 1.
No. 16 Bolles suffered a defeat last week, but the 20-16 loss to TRU Prep didn’t affect the Bulldogs ranking.
At the bottom of the rankings, Miami Columbus and Miami Palmetto flip-flop positions at No. 24 and No. 24. Columbus moves to No. 24 this week after its 10-7 win over the Panthers.
Killian (No. 22) and Dillard (No. 23) also flip-flopped spots.
