Sierra Canyon wins CIF Division 2-A state championship

Sierra Canyon is the seventh team in California high school football history to finish a perfect 16-0 after beating Serra (San Mateo) 42-40 in the CIF Division 2-A state championship game Saturday at Sacramento State.  Running back Bobby Cole rushed for 220 yards and four touchdowns.

The state title is the second for Sierra Canyon, which won the Division IV title in 2011.
