The start to the 2019 Connecticut high school football playoffs will have to wait a day as bad weather has pushed the quarterfinals from Tuesday to Wednesday.

The delay also means the semifinals will be played Monday, December 9, instead of Sunday, December 8. The state championships will be played Saturday, December 14.
