Eight of St. John Bosco’s ten 2025 regular season opponents finished last year in the High School Football America 300 national rankings, powered by NFL Play Football.

Bosco, which finished No. 5 in last year’s HSFA 300, will open on the road in Florida against Manatee, which finished No. 120 in our national rankings last year. It’s the second year in a row that the Braves will open in the Sunshine State.

Last year, Bosco beat Chaminade-Madonna 34-27. C-M went on to win its fourth straight Florida high school football state championship. Bosco is coming off an 11-2 record with the Braves only losses coming against national champ Mater Dei.

After its opener in Florida, the Braves will return home for four straight home games. They play Eastwood from El Paso, Texas (August 29), followed by national power St. Frances Academy of Maryland (September 5), which finished No. 9 in the nation. After SFA, on September 12, Bosco will host Serra (San Mateo), a team they beat for the 2022 California Open Division title, giving the Braves their second HSFA national title.

Reigning Hawaii Open Division champ Saint Louis comes to Bellflower on September 19. The Crusaders finished No. 163 in the HSFA 300 last year.
