Soldotna stays #1 in Alaska high school football rankings

Soldotna spot atop the High School Football America Alaska Top 5 high school football rankings was solidified over the weekend with the Stars’ 41st straight win.  Soldotna routed North Pole 57-13 with quarterback Brandon Crowder tossing three TD passes.

West, the defending Big Schools champs that lost to Soldotna in Week 1, rebounded with a 55-10 win over Lathrop.  The Eagles hold-on to the #2 spot, followed by East, which beat former #4 Colony 22-7.  Dimond flip-flops positions with Colony, moving from #5 to #4.
