South Pittsburg wins 7th Tennessee high school football championship

South Pittsburgh won the Tennessee 1A high school football championship on Friday with a 14-7 win over defending state champ McKenzie at Finley Stadium on the campus of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Jamarion Farrior ran for two touchdowns, including the game-winner with under five minutes to play.

The win caps a 15-0 season for the Pirates, giving the school seven overall high school football titles.
