5A champ Southeast Polk is the No. 1 team in the High School Football America Iowa Top 10 high school football rankings, powered by NFL Play Football, for the third year in a row. This past season, the Rams won their third straight 5A state title.

Falling in behind SEP is Dowling Catholic at No. 2, followed by Ankeny at No. 3, 4A champ Lewis Central at No. 4, Western Dubuque at No. 5, Pleasant Valley at No. 6, Xavier at No. 7, Ankeny Centennial at No. 8, Valley (West Des Moines) at No. 9 and Creston at No. 10.
