Ankeny Centennial’s 14-7 upset of top-ranked and defending 4A champ Ankeny moves Southeast Polk to the top-spot in the latest High School Football America Iowa Top 10 high school football rankings. The No. 1 Rams have opened with wins over No. 3 Dowling Catholic and No. 3 West Des Moines Valley.
Centennial enters the rankings at No. 7, while Ankeny falls to No. 8. Ankeny will try to rebound this week when it faces Dowling.
Urbandale, which moves-up to No. 2 this week will face Valley on Friday.
