Spartanburg (South Carolina) mourning the loss of Nick Dixon

A vigil is planned Sunday night on the Spartanburg High School football field for Nick Dixon who passed away Friday from complications from knee surgery. His death came one day after announcing that he was going to play college football at Wingate University in North Carolina.

Dixon was a captain on this past season squad and recently played in the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas.
