After losing its opener to Delbarton (New Jersey), St. Anthony’s is on a roll. The Friars move from No. 3 to No. 1 in the latest High School Football America New York Top 10 high school football rankings after beating former No. 1 Iona Prep 44-24 last Friday. It was the third win in a row for St. Anthony’s. Iona Prep drops to No. 3 in the statewide rankings, powered by NFL Play Football.

This week’s big battle will be between No. 2 Archbishop Stepinac and No. 4 Cardinal Hayes.
