St. Edward finishes 2022 where it started it — at No. 1 in the High School Football America Ohio Top 25 high school football rankings, powered by NFL Play Football. In December, the Eagles won their second straight Division I state championship.
In the national rankings, St Ed finishes as the 12th best team in America.
Division II state champ Toledo Central Catholic finishes No. 2. The Fighting Irish’s only loss was to St. Ed (23-20) in the season opener for both.
