For the second straight year, St. Edward heads into the postseason as the No. 1 team in the High School Football America Ohio Top 25 powered by NFL Play Football. A week after losing to Archbishop Moeller in overtime, the Eagles closed-out the regular season by beating defending Division II champ Archbishop Hoban to finish 9-1.

St. Ed will open the Division I playoffs against Lorain, which will bring a 1-9 mark into the game. You know Eagles fans are hoping for a possible playoff rematch against No. 10 Medina. In 2020, Medina upset St. Ed 35-31 in the second round.

On the national scene, St. Ed is the highest ranked team from Ohio in the High School Football America 100. The Eagles are ranked No. 26 in the country.
