2019 High School Football America “mythical” national champ St. John Bosco is off to a 3-0 during California Spring ’21 high school football season and in solid possession of the top spot in our California Top 25 statewide rankings. Bosco won its third straight Friday night with a 38-28 win over No. 4 Servite in a Trinity League showdown.

After trailing 7-3 at the half, SJB scored two unanswered two touchdown to give the Braves the lead for good.

This week, Servite will try to rebound against arch-rival Mater Dei, which is ranked a solid No. 2 in the statewide rankings. MD is hoping to run the table to set-up a showdown with Bosco on April 17.

Buchanan is the biggest mover this week after Austin Arroyo booted a game-winning field goal in closing seconds to beat former No. 7 Central (Fresno) 31-28. Buchanan moves from No. 16 to No. 10 in the latest rankings. The Grizzlies drop to No. 11 this week.

New to the rankings this week is Carlsbad at No. 25.

In addition to the Mater Dei/Servite showdown, No. 10 Corona Centennial clashes with No. 24 Norco in an intra-Top 25 battle.
