St. Joseph’s Prep, which finished #8 in the High School Football America Top 50 national rankings, is the #1 team in Pennsylvania, according to our final 2016 ratings developed with our proprietary algorithm. The Hawks capped a perfect 14-0 season by defeating Pittsburgh Central Catholic for the state’s 6A title. The Vikings finish #2, followed by North Penn at #3, 4A champ Erie Cathedral Prep at #4 and 5A champ Archbishop Wood at #5.
