Starkville won the 96th meeting in its storied rivalry with West Point. The 23-7 Yellow Jackets victory not only snapped West Point’s 30 game win streak, but moves Starkville to the top spot in the latest High School Football America Mississippi Top 10.
Starkville, which also broke into the High School Football America 100 national rankings at No. 94, now leads the all-time series 71-21-4.
This week’s Game of the Week features No. 3 Northwest Rankin, which moved up three spots this week, taking on No. 7 Brandon, which is coming off a 19-14 loss to No. 6 Clinton.
