Stephenville capped a perfect 16-0 season with a 38-21 win over Austin LBJ in the Texas 4A Division I championship at AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys.
Junior quarterback Ryder Lambert completed 16 of 28 passes for 258 yards and three touchdowns. Coy Eakin was Lambert’s top target. he caught nine passes for 187 yards and all three of his touchdown passes.

Eakin topped the 2,000 yard mark in receiving yards this year. He also picked-up a rushing touchdown in the win.

Lambert and Eakin began the season in competition for the starting quarterback position.
