More than 100 girls’ flag high school teams with some 1,500 student athletes descended on the Ed Radice Sports Complex in Tampa this weekend for the 6th annual Tampa Bay Buccaneers Girls Flag Football Preseason Classic. It all began Tuesday night with opening night at the West Club of Raymond James Stadium with Darcie Glazer Kassewitz, Owner/President Tampa Bay Buccaneers Foundation/President Glazer Vision Foundation, welcoming the girls and talking about the extraordinary growth of the sport.

109 teams, including eight time state champ Robinson High School began four days of competition on Wednesday. The games were a good way for the teams to get ready for the start of the regular season on Monday.
