After nearly a month of doubt, we now know that Tennessee high school football will begin as scheduled. With Tennessee Governor Bill Lee signing an executive order on Tuesday, high school football players and their coaches will now be able to hit the practice field to begin preparing for the start of the regular season on August 20.
Earlier this month, the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association approved a plan that gave the state flexibility to use different options during the coronavirus pandemic.
