Tesoro and San Clemente are rivals, but Thursday night’s game meant a little bit more with the Tritons bringing a perfect 5-0 record into the game against Tesoro, which was 4-1 coming in.

Tesoro, which lost its season opener to La Mirada, ripped-off its fifth straight win by jumping out to a 17-0 lead on the way to a 59-38 victory.  Leading the way for Tesoro was junior QB Devon Modster, who tossed four TD passes and ran for one.

The victory came one week after the Titans snapped Corona del Mar‘s 30 game win streak.
