When the 2020 high school football season opens for two-time state runner-up Duncanville, head coach Reginald Samples will not be on the Panthers’ sideline. The University Interscholastic League has suspended Samples for the first game of the season for a violation of UIL rules governing the employment of coaches.

Duncanville finished No. 9 last year in the High School Football America 100 national rankings after losing to North Shore for the second year in a row in the Class 6A Division I championship game.
