Texas to allow LIVE streaming of high school football games

While it’s only temporary, the University Interscholastic League is lifting its ban on the LIVE streaming of Texas high school football games during the coronavirus pandemic for the 2020-21 season. Prior to the decision, the LIVE broadcast of Texas high school football games was prohibited until an hour after the game ended.

The move is in direct response to the coronavirus pandemic that will limit crowd size during the upcoming season.

For games to be LIVE streamed, both teams have to give permission to allow the game to be broadcast online.
