2015 Class 6A Division I runner-up Westlake, which began the season ranked #17 in our National Top 25 Preseason Poll, is back in the mix in the latest High School Football America Texas Top 10 Rankings that are created by our proprietary. The Chaparrals re-enter the Top 10 at #8 in the latest rankings.

The Chaps have Laredo United in the Regional 4 semifinals. If Westlake wins Friday, they’ll get the winner of nationally-ranked Lake Travis/Los Fresnos regional semifinal game.  Lake Travis is currently ranked #16 in our Top 25.

The biggest game in the Top 10 this week will feature top-ranked Allen, ranked #5 in the High School Football America Top 25, taking-on #10 San Angelo Central.

Right now, six Texas teams are ranked in our Top 50.
