Defending Class 5A champ Cherry Creek remains the No. 1 team in the High School Football America Colorado Top 10 that is created with our proprietary algorithm. The Bruins, who are climbing in our national rankings (No. 122), will close-out the regular season against No. 5 Eaglecrest.
In the two head-to-head Top 10 matchups last weekend, No. 2 Valor Christian beat former No. 7 Ralston Valley 45-7 and No. 6 Legend edged No. 7 Pine Creek 21-20 on a missed extra point.
The VC/Ralston Valley game was the result of the Columbine/RV game being canceled earlier in the week due to a COVID-19 diagnosis inside the Rebels’ program.
Regis Jesuit, which closes out the regular season this weekend against Pine Creek, re-enters the statewide rankings at No. 8.
The third head-to-head matchup in the Top 10 this week features No. 3 Columbine taking-on No. 4 Pomona.
