Corona Santiago (California) QB Blake Barnett‘s Elite 11 performance helped wide receiver Calvin Ridley of Monarch High School in Florida garner the overall MVP of The Opening 2014 at Nike World Headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon.  Barnett and Ridley, who have both given their verbal commitments to Alabama, played for Team Apocalypse that won the 7-on-7 tournament.

Offensive tackle Martez Ivey, who is uncommitted, from Apopka High School in Florida was the MVP for offensive linemen, while defensive tackle Kahill McKenzie of Clayton Valley in California was the defensive line MVP.
