The Opening 2015 – Washington DC qualifier

Nike's The Opening 2015Seven more players have earned their way to The Opening 2015 at Nike World Headquarters in July.  The seven punched their tickets at Sunday’s regional qualifier in Washington D.C.

Advancing to the Beaverton, Oregon event are:

OL – Terrence Davis, DeMatha HS (Maryland)

WR – Trevon Diggs, Avalon School (Maryland)

QB – Dwayne Haskins, The Bullis School (Maryland)

LB – Keandre Jones, Good Counsel HS (Maryland)

DB – Levonta Taylor, Ocean Lakes HS (Virginia)

WR – Daryl Turner, DeMatha HS (Maryland)

LB – Jaquan Yulee, Indian River HS (Virginia)

Haskins will also take part in the Elite 11 quarterback competition.  He’s the fifth QB to be invited to the Elite 11.

There are now 73 student-athletes that have been invited to The Opening 2015.
