Thomas County Central climbs in Georgia Top 25 high school football rankings

Thomas County Central jumps eight places in the latest High School Football America Georgia Top 25 high school football rankings, powered by NFL Play Football.

Last week, the TCC beat Lee County, which clinched a piece of the AAAAAA Region 1 title. This week, the 16th ranked Yellow Jackets can clinch the region outright when they square-off with No. 18 Northside (Warner Robins) in a regular season finale.

On the national scene, Buford remains No. 2 in the nation. The Wolves close-out the regular season and the 7A Region 8 title against Central Gwinnett, which is winless in the region.
