Top-ranked Thompson’s 42-9 win over No. 3 Hewitt-Trussville keeps the two-time defending 7A champs a solid No. 1 in the latest High School Football America Alabama Top 10 powered by NFL Play Football. This week, the Warriors will test that ranking again against a Top 10 team.
Friday night, Thompson will be on the road to face new No. 10 Mountain Brook. The Spartans enter the statewide rankings created with our proprietary algorithm after Jackson-Olin beat defending 6A champ Pinson Valley, which tumbles out of our Top 10 from its former No. 5 position.
Currently, Thompson is ranked No. 3 in our national rankings.
