Maybe I’m a little homesick or maybe I just wanted to listen to a legend. It’s actually the latter, which is why I chose a 2012 interview I did with the late, great George Curry, who put the tiny town of Berwick, Pennsylvania on the map as a national high school football power, for today’s Throwback Thursday podcast.

Curry, who passed away after battling ALS in 2016, is still No. 8 on America’s all-time coaching wins list with 455 led the Berwick Bulldogs to three mythical national championships in the 80’s and 90’s.

Below you can listen to my chat with him after he came out of retirement to return to the Berwick sidelines.
